Born and raised in a small town in Germany in the early 2000s, I enjoyed a quiet, rural upbringing, which lead to a growing curiosity about the world beyond it. Returning to the same few vacation spots year after year gave me a longing to explore more, and I realized early on that my ambitions extended far beyond my hometown.
From a young age, I was drawn to handcrafts. Taught how to sew and crochet as a child, I quickly discovered a deep love for creating with my hands. It became clear that I wanted to pursue a path where creativity and craftsmanship could coexist.
At 17, right after finishing high school, I moved to southern Germany to begin a three-year apprenticeship in fashion design and women’s tailoring at Modefachschule Sigmaringen. There, I learned every step of the garment-making process, from the first sketch to the final stitch. I graduated with special honors in the summer of 2023, and since then, I’ve gained valuable experience, including contributing to a show during New York Fashion Week and helping to develop an exclusive collection for a German TV production.
My passion for fashion isn’t rooted in admiration for luxury runways - it’s in the hands-on process. Most of the pieces in my wardrobe are my own creations, each one a product of hours or days spent designing, pattern-making, prototyping, and sewing, often finished with handmade logo-embroideries. My dream is to one day turn this passion into my own niche fashion label. Not to scale, but to connect with people who appreciate the value of slow, sustainable, and inclusive fashion.
Until then, I’m eager to continue learning and growing, exploring every opportunity to deepen my understanding of the fashion industry. My goal is to help transform its impact on our society and the planet, shifting it toward a healthier, more sustainable, and more meaningful future.
